What can Free
Kick do for your business?
The soccer community is huge. Statistics state there are over 800,000
registered players in Canada of which 40% are female. This number
is small compared to all of the unregistered participants and immigrant
populations who are big fans of the game. Add on all of the soccer moms
and dads who participate as chaperones, coaches and cheering squads and
the number of soccer-interested people increases to millions. These are
the same decision makers when it comes to buying.
Free Kick Magazine
is reaching a large demographic of people who enjoy soccer, will read
about it and will often pass it on to teammates, friends and
family. Your business will be showcased in a magazine that enjoys
a long shelf life. Your business will be associated with a game
people love.
Our
Readers:

genders, and ethnicities. Free Kick offers our audience

readers in a wide variety of topics to create a package that is
inclusive of the community as a whole just as the game itself embraces
the interest and spirit at a global level.

Riding the MLS Bandwagon into Vancouver
Few people could have predicted the tremendous success of Toronto
FC. That’s been the story, where fans have obliterated attendance
records so there is now a 15 year wait for season tickets. Plans to
build additional sections for the 22,000 seat stadium appear to be the
only answer to give access to the raucous ear-splitting sea of red
supporters who have made BMO the best place to watch a soccer match in
North America. Vancouver is next.
In 2011, the Vancouver Whitecaps will be joining Toronto in the MLS
(Major League Soccer). You will want to be there too! With the team
slated to play at BC Place under the new retractable roof, soccer
promises to be an overnight success on par with the Vancouver Canucks.
Going to a professional soccer match will soon become one of the
hottest events in town. In fact, just look at the Seattle Sounders who
started their inaugural season last year. With an average 28,000 sold
out attendance, they enjoyed massive support from the people of
Seattle, local businesses and league officials who propelled the
Sounders as an instant hit. By 2011, the Whitecaps, Portland and
Seattle will be competing along the Northwest coast in a rivalry that
is sure to be legendary.
Free Kick Magazine
will be there with your business going into the hands of fans.
Be a part of World Cup Fever 2010!
Let’s keep the party going! Promote your business to the soccer
community. Olympic fever will roll into summer this year with the World
Cup taking place in South Africa. 2010 is the year soccer
fans around the globe have been waiting for and all eyes will be on
South Africa when 32 countries come to compete in the big dance.
Expect a giant month long party in most of your multicultural
neighbourhoods where dancing in the streets, flag waving and delirious
honking becomes the norm. In fact, there is going to be such a
passionate buzz before it starts that if you are not Italian, French,
Brazilian or from any of the qualified countries, you are going to want
to change your citizenship. Football is, by far, the biggest
sport in the world and the festivities are about to begin.
